Cliff Lede Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry 2007 750ml

If Led Zeppelin's "Going to California" were a wine, it might be this Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux-style blend from Cliff Lede. Finesse blends with power in the palate of this wine where notes of brambly blackberry, fresh red currants, tea leaves, crushed violets, cola and spice swirl together in a dizzying, heady dance. Explosive but never overwhelming, silky but not unctuous, this wine seems like a classic, even in its youth. Drinking for the next three decades, possibly four.
