Memorable Wines to Mark a Memorable Time
Although we believe all of the producers featured by IWM are truly special, some are particularly special to us--like the following wineries. Each one of these estates is utterly unique, and have a great deal in common, including standards that are indisputably high and wines that are sought-after all over the world.

Memorable Mid-Autumn Wine Sampler
Although IWM believes all of the producers featured by IWM are truly special, some are particularly special to us--like the following five wineries. Each one of these estates is utterly unique--with a different (or in the case of Movia, very different) point of view. But they also have a great deal in common, including standards that are indisputably high and wines that are sought-after all over the world.
Sampler Includes (one of each from below):
Querciabella Camartina 2000
Movia Pinot Nero 2004
Movia Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Gravner Ribolla Gialla 2003
Radikon Ribolla Gialla 2001
Case Basse di Soldera Pegasos 2005

Querciabella Camartina 2000
Camartina—the flagship of Querciabella—was Castiglioni's first contribution to this dynamic and historic phenonmenon. Camartina continues to be a defining example of the Super-Tuscan genre, a position that it's earned, in no small part, due to Giacomo Tachis' involvement.

Movia Pinot Nero 2004
The
biodynamic Movia estate, owned and operated by the dynamic Ales
Kristancic, makes a 100-percent Pinot Nero that is unusual, pure and
fresh. Taut, lean, and muscular, Movia's Pinot dances across the palate
in a swirl of crushed red fruit, electric acidity and wafting spice.
This is a wine is drinking now.
